I think I might have found the problem
On the old writeable disc I noticed tonight it says on them C D R.On the new ones I am trying to write to it says on them DVD R.Would that make a difference in copying files and folders to F writeable drive?I also found a file that I could be missing,it’s called by different names.Recovered File l.dll.exe the size is 11.73MB,>:[255,0]File:wdview.exe,others are fwrites,
Files.CSU
read.csu
write.csu
nwrite
nread
then there is regex
regbuild
regdemo
regj
regbld Also, winapi
win32api
winconst
winslt.
But I don’t know, very confused.Maybe you have an answer to my problem.
Also I tried everything to open my registry but it just won’t open.I feel like some times just dumping the whole system and starting from scratch. If I didn’t have so much infomation on this thing I would.
Thanks,Ted Roux

Ted,
If your cd burner is not compatible with DVD discs, then you are correct, you found your problem.
If the drive is a standard CD+/-R burner, then they will not work with DVD discs.
DVD +/- R’s will only work in a DVD/CDR multi drive or a DVD burner.
